Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê (/ˈdɪbè/ /ˈkɘzɪ/ [zombie] [fairy]) is a subtropical Town located in the Gêngípíêpíêè Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê was founded by Glelrirth Trèbêbm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê receives an average of 140 cm/y (55 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3786 m (12421 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1485, by Glelrirth Trèbêbm. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Glelrirth Trèbêbm.

Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow packed earth streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. The exceptionaly well made fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê shows Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The town has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.

Cultural Notes

Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

In Dîbè-kêzî Fêqê the utterance of expletives is impossible within city limits. This has changed as the limits have changed, but has not kept up with slang, or swearing in foreign languages.
